One question
How does ArcBlock Chain differ from ARC?
Separate shared on-chain records from application execution.
ArcBlock Chain is an application-oriented Layer 1 positioned around identity, assets and agreements. Existing documentation also describes ledger and credential-related registry uses.
ARC hosts applications. ArcBlock Chain records and validates on-chain state. An application may use the chain without putting every interface update, document or DID operation into a transaction.
Consensus versions and operations require network-specific documentation; an early Forge implementation record does not prove current network configuration.

Connecting to the wider ecosystem
An application-oriented chain does not require every application asset to move onto it. Ethereum and ArcBlock explains the intended division of work; ArcBridge records the connection. Compare Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Circle Arc and Base by execution and settlement responsibilities.
Check your understanding
Must a note displayed by an ARC app be stored on-chain?
No. Application data storage and on-chain recording are different choices.
