One question

Ethereum and ArcBlock: applications and assets

Compare responsibilities, then examine the bridge between them.

ArcBlock's application-oriented positioning allows a division of responsibilities: build application services with ArcBlock technology while assets remain on Ethereum. This is a design direction, not a requirement to move every token or record to ArcBlock Chain.

ResponsibilityWhat to examine
Application interface and workflowsWhich runtime hosts the application and its services?
Identity and personal dataWho can authorize access, and where is private data kept?
Token balances and contract operationsOn which network are the asset and its rules recorded?
Cross-chain movementWhich bridge, asset representation and completion conditions apply?

Ethereum also supports applications through smart contracts; ArcBlock Chain also records assets. The distinction is a chosen division of work, not an exclusive capability boundary.

A documented connection

ArcBridge provides historical evidence of an ArcBlock–Ethereum asset connection. Using a bridge is an explicit operation. A normal application interaction need not trigger a cross-chain transfer.

Base adds a different option: execution on an Ethereum L2. A Base balance is not an Ethereum-mainnet balance, even when the same wallet address is used. Name the network in the application and confirm the integration actually supported.

This framework helps compare architectures. It does not rank chains universally or prescribe where a person should keep assets.
